National Libary Books

For reading we choose a book from the National library and had to read it for 15 minutes, After that we go on a google doc and answer questions about the book then we put it on thinglink then post it onto our blog. Hope you like it. Feel free to comment.

For our reading task this week we had to choose a book from the National Libary and read it for 15 minutes. After that we had to answer questions about the book and put it into a thinglink. Then put it all on it and put it on our blog. Hope you like it. 

How far people traveled to get to New Zealand

On Tuesday James came into teach more of cybersmart. Today room 7 made a world map of how far we he taveled to get here.  Many people came from                            all around the world.                                                                                

How far have some students travelled in their lifetime to reach WPS?

Hame traveled 7,782 from Tonga to New Zealand

Why do people make the choice to move to different countries?

So they can get better education here and explore or new job.

Is this a trend in NZ society? What does the media tell us?

Yes because the houses in New Zealand are getting more expensive every day or week.

I felt bad for them because people are judging them by skin colour by black and White and by stupiedity too.

My fav idol

I respect Jonah Lomu because even doe he had kidney problems he kept on try to play rugby.
We had to get some facts then type it down on a google slide.

Room 7's Born places

On Monday 17th James came in to teach us how to make our own map on where the people in my class where born. We found out we were all born from so many places around the world. Have a look at my map down below.

In Room 7 made a mythical creature out of clay for Waikowhai's art show. Firstly before we even touched the clay we made our mythical creature out of play dough to get an idea of what we were going to make. Then we finally got to play and mold the clay into our fantastic creations. Then it had to be taken to a kelm to get fired so it didn't break. After that we had to paint our mythical creature whatever colour we wanted it to look like so we got really creative. We also had to make a backdrop for our mythical creature and some google slides to tell a story about our mythical creature. We also but a QR code to link it to my google slide so people can just scan it and find my Google Slide. My Slide Is Down Below,
