My NZ Journey

Hey there blogging world, a couple of weeks ago we  were working on our NZ Journey. We had to choose witch activity's we wanted to do in each place we went to, we also had to work out how much petrol we will be using for us to get there and back. This took longer than I thought, In some parts I was a little bit bored but as I kept on making my way through the Journey it was getting kinda exiting. It was a good experience so if I wanted to go on that same trip I will know how much it will cost and how long. The thing that was hard was do check how much the whole thing cost because I was having trouble with totalling the price but luckily we have calculators, the thing that was easy choosing the activity's. Here is what I have done with my NZ Journey 

Novel Study Tinkercad

Hey there blogging world, at the start of term 4 we started to read a novel. We were given a whole heap of slides that is to do with the book we were reading, I am still working on mine but I chose to make a tinker cad on one of the main parts of the story, I think that this was not that challenging because I just had to selected a main spot that they always go to in the book. I like reading this book because it has interesting parts spread through out the book, if you would like to see what I made check it out down below

My Basketball animation creation

Hello There Blogging World, a few weeks ago we did an animation about what ever we wanted to do it on. First we had to get PNG pictures (Has no background) of whatever topic we are doing our animation on, then we choose a back round to of our choice. I did Basketball because it is my favourite sport and I have been playing for 1 year and my brother has been identified as a top player in the country. Then we keep on moving the PNG picture to different place slowly so it looks like it is moving, here is what I created down below 

The Magic Science Show

Talofa Lava People of the blogging world. Today we went to a Science show and the people hosting were Richard and Robyn, they were presenting different magic tricks. They told us that science is inside magic, How is Science inside of magic? My favourite part of the show was when he had a blow torch and he had some chemical that he pushed into the

fire, so it exploded and made a much bigger fire, I was wondering what chemical he used to make the fire much bigger that its normal?. Water is the same as H2O the only substance
on Earth that exists in Gas/liquid/solid. To make Fireworks, fire needs Fuel(Water, Paper, and Plastic) , heat and oxygen, Why do you need these things to make fire?. Paper lifts when air is blown across the curve because of air pressure. When you rub your hands it creates heat and when you click your fingers it makes sound and that's friction. Inside a nappy is a powder chemical called Polymer which turns liquid into solid. Chemical reactions are when you mix 2 or more things together - changes the state. These are all the things that we learned at the science show.

Camp Trip

Hello there! Last week we had an awesome time at Mt Ruapehu, we left from 21st August - 25th August. We went to 3 different stop before we went to National Park to go sleep. When we left to the mountain the next day I learnt how to Snowboard. I stayed in happy valley because I was to lazy to keep on going down then back up over and over again. But instead I went on the Lamborghini (Toboggans) But before we could go down the mountain we had to do some lessons so we can keep on going down the mountain. Before I went to the mountain I already knew that it will be fun and it will be a good experience. My challenge was to keep control of the Snowboard and learn how to turn. If I had one more day I could have challenge myself by going up to rock garden because I would have more experience on the Snowboard.

Hey Blogging People, About 2 weeks ago we did a Infographic and my group was doing it about Albatross. In this Infographic about Albatross it has many different facts about Albatross, Check down below for the Infographic

This Infograhic made me think about how did the Albatross hide from the Eskimos and try to survive. Next time I could try and make my own pictures with shapes and add more of a description of the Albatross.

Hey Blogging world! Yesterday in Cybersmart we did a thinglink, The thinglink was about our hobbies and everything that is interesting to us. Thinglink is a website that you can put a photo on as the background, then you can post some dots and inside each dot is some information. Within these dots I have included information on things that inspire me and what I am looking forward to.



I liked doing this because it was easy and fun because I got to put things that I like and the people that inspire me for my favourite sports. We got to put some YouTube videos, my favourite work and people that inspire me so I have someone to look up to in the future when I have the chance to do that sport.
