Malo e lelei people of the blogging world, on Monday we had wheels day. I enjoyed the it because I got to go on the water slide and I especially like playing the games because we got to play with a Nerf vortex and we were playing NFL. I was a good time to play with our friends playing the games or going on you wheels. You could bring your bike, scooter, roller blades and other wheels. We got into our groups that we did for our dances, my group first went to the water slide. Then after we finished from going on the water slide a had to watch the nest group going on the water slide, a few minutes later my group hoped into the pool. After doing all of those we had morning tea, after morning tea we played capture the flag and a few other games. Fell free to comment.
My favourite highlights of this year is mostly the Gala day because I got the chance to perform in the Tongan group and supporting our culture. Everything else that I have done in the year was exiting but I would always love to do a Tongan dance.
During out Tongan practises me and some of my friend in the Tongan group got to teach to rest of the group because we already learnt the dance and it was easier for the parents to teach everyone the dance. The most part I liked about the Tongan group was use performing on the stage and I thought the would be less people going to watch the dance but mostly everyone came to watch it. Our group couldn't have perform with out 2 teachers that helped everyone the most.
Hello there people of the blogging world, a few weeks ago we started on making a slideshow that reflects to the Gala day about 2 weeks go. After adding all the information about the Celebration we were allowed to add photos to each slide. The things we had to write down was mostly about what happened on the Celebration day and what we have been doing. I enjoyed doing this slideshow because it reminded me of the fun time I had at the Celebration day. Next time I could put my writing more into detail so people can understand what happened at the Gala day.
Hey blogging world, we started making paper a few weeks. We made recycled paper because of people throwing away paper and not using it again for another use that can be made out of paper. Our teacher told us to search how to make paper also find
as much information as possible. We were learning how to make as many things out of recycled paper.
What you need:
Egg beater
Used paper
Containers
Mech
Water
Wooden frame
Art t-shirt
Dry cloth
Here a the steps on making paper
1. Rip used paper into small bits
2. Put the paper into a container and poor hot water into it and leave it over night
3. Mix the paper around with a egg beater until it looks like porridge
4. Tip the porridge looking paper into another a container
5. Put the mech and wooden frame together and dip it into the paper, make sure the paper is on it
6. Wait till the water leaks of the frame and then take up the top so the paper will be laying down the the dry cloth
7. Use another cloth to dry the top of the paper while the other cloth is still down
8. Take of the cloth and then your all done! There is your paper :D
When I was making the paper with my friend Sebastian, we made the best paper because when we lifted it up the frame it was thick. Making the recycled paper is part of sustainability because of that we are using paper that could be used again for another use so we aren't wasting paper that would have otherwise went into the rubbish bin.
Hey there blogging world, a couple of weeks ago we were working on our NZ Journey. We had to choose witch activity's we wanted to do in each place we went to, we also had to work out how much petrol we will be using for us to get there and back. This took longer than I thought, In some parts I was a little bit bored but as I kept on making my way through the Journey it was getting kinda exiting. It was a good experience so if I wanted to go on that same trip I will know how much it will cost and how long. The thing that was hard was do check how much the whole thing cost because I was having trouble with totalling the price but luckily we have calculators, the thing that was easy choosing the activity's. Hey there blogging world, at the start of term 4 we started to read a novel. We were given a whole heap of slides that is to do with the book we were reading, I am still working on mine but I chose to make a tinker cad on one of the main parts of the story, I think that this was not that challenging because I just had to selected a main spot that they always go to in the book. I like reading this book because it has interesting parts spread through out the book, if you would like to see what I made check it out down below
Hello There Blogging World, a few weeks ago we did an animation about what ever we wanted to do it on. First we had to get PNG pictures (Has no background) of whatever topic we are doing our animation on, then we choose a back round to of our choice. I did Basketball because it is my favourite sport and I have been playing for 1 year and my brother has been identified as a top player in the country. Then we keep on moving the PNG picture to different place slowly so it looks like it is moving, here is what I created down below
